The Ubud Food and Beverage Community (UFBC) in collaboration with Himpunan Bartender Indonesia (HBI), successfully hosted the Ubud Mixologist Competition 2026 on Friday, 6 March 2026 at The Blue Door Ubud, bringing together the region’s top bartenders and emerging mixology talent.

The competition featured 30 mixologists, each challenged to create an original cocktail inspired by Ubud’s culture and natural ingredients using Saccharum and Ranchitos Tequila. A panel of hospitality and beverage professionals—Yos Malelak, Master Blender at Mulia Dewata Gemilang, I Gede Adijaya from HBI, and I Komang Oka from UFBC—judged the entries based on taste, balance, creativity, technique, and presentation.

After a high-energy final round, I Kadek Aldi Cahyadi from Adiwana Unagi Suites was named Ubud Mixologist Champion 2026 and also received the Best Cocktail award for his refined Ranchitos Tequila creation featuring locally sourced ingredients.

I Gusti Ngurah Surya Wijaya from Soulshine Bali secured second place, while Ni Made Lestariyani from Sthala, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel finished in third place.

The event also featured live entertainment and networking opportunities, attracting hospitality professionals, media, and cocktail enthusiasts from across Bali.
